Dem Bois Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization with the mission to provide charitable financial assistance to trans-masculine people of color—including those who identify as FTM—for access to chest reconstruction and/or genital affirmation surgery. Our work helps recipients live more physically and mentally authentic lives by supporting their right to transition on their own terms and with dignity.
Dem Bois Inc. exists to help alleviate the overwhelming feelings of dysphoria experienced by trans men of color, who often face disproportionate barriers to quality healthcare and the financial means to obtain gender-affirming surgeries. We are led by trans men of color and their allies who deeply understand the critical need for access to medical transition-related care.
